We consider JadedCraft to be an enhanced vanilla Minecraft experience. As most of these enhancements are toggleable if you prefer to have completely vanilla gameplay you do not have to use these packs.
We source our data packs mainly from various sources: Vanilla Tweaks, Voo Doo Beard, and Planet Minecraft. If there is an enhancement (data pack) you would like to see added to the site, let us know on our Discord and we will be sure to look into it.
Below is a list of the data packs added as of the 1.21 update.
From Vanilla Tweaks
Decorative/Cosmetic
- Armor Statues – Adds a unique book that allows you to alter the properties of armor stands
- Mini Blocks – Use a stonecutter to craft certain blocks into mini blocks (mob head sized)
- More Mob Heads – Adds a chance to receive a mob head upon killing it
- Player Head Drops – A player will drop their head when killed by another player. The item will display who the killer is
- Wandering Trades – Adds mini blocks to the Wandering Trader’s trades
Convenience
- Cauldron Concrete – drop concrete powder into a water cauldron to instantly harden it
- Cauldron Mud – Drop dirt into a water cauldron to instantly convert it to mud
- Double Shulker Shells – All shulkers will drop 2 shells
- EnderChest Always Drops – Gone are the days of accidently mining your enderchest with the wrong pickaxe. Enderchest now drops without silktouch
- Fast Leaf Decay – Leaves decay faster
- Glass Always Drops – Makes all glass drop without silktouch
- Multiplayer Sleep – Only one player is required to sleep to skip the night/rain.
- Unlock All Recipes – Automatically unlocks all recipes
Game Play Changes:
- Armored Elytra – Drop an elytra and a chest piece on an anvil to merge them, drop the finished item on a grindstone to separate them. Enchantments are kept safely between merging and separating.
- Bat Membranes – If phantoms are disabled, bats will drop membranes
- Confetti Creepers – There is a chance each creeper will explode into confetti and do no damage to blocks
- Graves – Upon death, your items should be saved in a grave. Right click to retrieve your items and crouch to pick them up (be sure you have nothing in your hands).
- Husks Drop Sand – Husks drop up to 2 sand blocks upon death, making it renewable
- Silk Touch Budding Amethyst – Lets you collect budding amethyst using silk touch.
Informative:
- AFK Display – Greys out player name if they are inactive for 5 mins
- Coordinates HUD – This will add your co-ords and a world clock to the location above your XP bar. To activate this feature simply type /trigger ch_toggle
- Durability Ping – Get notified when you damage a tool at 10% or less. Fully customizable per player using /trigger duraPing
- Wandering Trader Announcements – Notifies nearby players in chat when a wandering trader arrives
Teleportation:
- Back – Teleport back to your last teleportation point or your death spot by using /trigger back
- Homes – Players have the ability to set one home location. To activate the feature, stand where you want your teleportation spot and type /trigger sethome. To use this feature after your home is set, type /trigger home. You can only set ONE home location
- Spawn – Players now have the ability to transport to the Spawn location Type /trigger spawn to travel
- TPA – A trigger command to request teleportation to another player. Use /trigger tpa set. And then press tab to select the online player you wish to teleport to
From Voodoo Beard
- Shulkermites – If an endermite is sitting on a purpur block, rather than despawn (after 2 mins), they will burrow into the block and become a shulker
- Anti-Zombie Breech – Prevents zombies, zombie villagers and drowned from breaking doors
- Wither Bats – Bats will “bite” you for 1 heart damage. Bats will only bite once.
- Chicken Shedding – Chickens have a 10% chance of dropping a feather
- Crop Harvesting – Holding a Diamond or Netherite Hoe will auto-magically harvest and replant any fully grown crops you walk over. Harvests: Wheat, Potatoes, Carrots, Beetroot and Nether Wart
- Auto Plant Saplings – Saplings, including Azalea and Flowering Azalea, will auto-plant themselves if lying on Grass, Dirt, Coarse Dirt or Podzol after 30 seconds
- Killer Bunny – A hostile rabbit variant, has a rare chance of naturally spawning in the overworld. Upon death, the Killer Rabbit will drop a “Lucky Rabbit’s Foot” that grants the player a random bonus to their luck.
From Planet Minecraft
- Blaze and Cave’s Advancements – Adds over 100 advancements
- Dungeons and Taverns – Spawns more structures throughout the world
- Jungle & Swamp Villages – Adds villages to swamps and jungles
- Cherry Grove Villages – Creates villages in cherry groves
- Towns & Towers – Adds over 50 structures to the world
- Reg’s More Food – Adds over 80 new food items to the world
