Support & FAQ
Every good community deserves a helpful guidebook.
Here you’ll find answers to our most frequently asked questions — everything from joining the server to understanding our enhanced-vanilla features. JadedCraft is built on kindness, creativity, and cozy vibes, so if you need a hand, we’re always just a message away.
How can we help you?

The server is completely free to play.
We do have a Ko-fi where players can support hosting costs or tip for cozy vibes:👉 https://ko-fi.com/jadedcraft
Never required, always appreciated.
JadedCraft runs 24/7, except during scheduled maintenance or major updates. If we’re temporarily offline, announcements will always be posted in Discord.
We used to refresh the world seed annually.
Now, we ONLY reset when:
- there’s a major Minecraft update
- AND it adds something substantial that requires a new map
Example: major biome changes, worldgen overhauls, new dimensions, etc.
We try to avoid resetting unnecessarily, so players can settle in long-term.
JadedCraft is still vanilla at heart — but we sprinkle in cozy, quality-of-life datapacks to make gameplay smoother and more fun.
These include:
- one-player sleep
- custom crafting tweaks
- teleporting to your home (player-set)
- Spawn teleport
- gravestones on death (no more item panic!)
- aesthetic enhancements
- small convenience upgrades
It still feels like Minecraft — just… nicer.
The JadedCraft custom texture pack usually installs automatically when you join the server.
If it doesn’t install or doesn’t load correctly, the manual download link is pinned in:
Discord → #just-info
You can install it manually by dropping the .zip file into:Minecraft > Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder
Then enable it in-game.
Try these steps:
- Log out & back into the server (this forces pack reload).
- Check that Server Resource Packs are set to “Enabled.”
Minecraft → Multiplayer → Select JadedCraft → Edit →
Server Resource Packs = Enabled - If it still doesn’t load, grab the manual install from Discord.
- Still broken? Drop a screenshot in #server-troubles and we’ll help.

JadedCraft = one cozy ecosystem. 🌿
Nope.
Just Optifine if you want extra prettiness — totally optional.
Everything else (textures, models, datapacks) is built into the server.
No — we do not use automated claiming plugins.
Instead:
- Towns + public areas are admin-protected
- Outside towns, you’re free to build
- We rely on a respectful community + active moderation (many members pop up a sign where they plan to build).
Nope.
JadedCraft is meant to be low-pressure and cozy.
Play at your own pace — daily, weekly, or whenever you need a little digital cottagecore escape. Some members take extended absences, and are still welcomed back with open arms.
You can absolutely play solo.
JadedCraft is perfect for:
- lone builders
- explorers
- cozy homemakers
- people who log in occasionally
Events are optional fun — not requirements.
Sort of — but ONLY if it’s consensual.
You and the other player must BOTH agree before fighting.
We also have a Player Head datapack, meaning:
✔ if you defeat another player
✔ AND they agreed to PVP
✔ you can collect their head as a trophy
If someone attacks you without consent → report it.
We take cozy seriously.
